SuperSisters ( is an online platform aimed to inspire, empower and change lives for young Muslim women and girls in London and beyond through positive online content produced with and for our audience. Our focus over the last two years has been on video content, but in 2019 we will be expanding our focus to also include written content, and featuring more regular videos.

We feature inspiring Muslim women and girls, or ‘SuperSisters’, in sport, tech, academia, business, activism and more, through professional short-form video content on our social media pages and blog posts on our website. We provide a platform for members of our audience to address topics that affect their communities, share events and initiatives that are set out to make a positive difference and encourage dialogue and critical thinking.

SuperSisters was launched as part of J-Go Media (, so although our current SuperSisters team is small, there is a larger pool of staff working on other social projects which offers opportunity to get involved elsewhere. We pride ourselves on treating our staff like family, working together to resolve problems, and we offer free lunches and flexible days/hours.

We recently moved to a new office in Dagenham East (Barking, East London) and the successful applicant would be expected to attend a minimum of one day per week on-site for a team meeting and collaborative work.

We are looking for creative, ambitious self-starters, who are comfortable with responsibility and self-training where appropriate. Our roles on our team are quite fluid, so there is always opportunity to get involved on any other areas of interest. Previous work experience is not necessary, but we would like to see a portfolio of appropriate existing examples of work (whether that’s school, college or university work, or other suitable projects or work experience).

To apply please email with the role as a subject line, along with a cover letter, CV/portfolio and any social media links.

We pay London Living Wage (£10.55 per hour as of 2019).
